Nicaragua Coffee

Solution - I researched Nicaragua to identify what the country is known for – Its rainforest and mountain scape. Also note-worthy,  the country is known for its tropical birds, especially the Turquoise-browed Motmot. I designed two different options. The first is a decorative illustration of the Jungle with the Turquoise-browed Motmot featured on a stamp, and a watermark of the shape of the country of the label. I ensured that the product was identifiable as coffee by including coffee beans in the illustration and using coffee bean icons as a scale to measure the taste intensity of the coffee.

I also designed a more minimal second option. This illustration features the Nicaraguan mountains, which also features the same coffee bean scale and a large flash with a coffee bean at the centre.
