Solution - Dia de los Muetos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday which, celebrates the return of deceased relatives, back into the world of the living. The holiday is a joyful and colourful event filled with music, food and drink.

 

I wanted to capture the energy of the celebrations in my designs. I did this by illustrating reanimated skeleton parts taking in the festivities through music and dance. I used bright, popping colours on black backgrounds and featured iconic symbols from the holiday such as candy skulls.
